Former Konga Ceo, Nick Imudia is dead
Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, has reportedly taken his own life. This tragic event occurred at his home, where he was serving as the CEO of D.light, a company known for its innovative solar energy solutions and household products. On the night of Tuesday, June 25, he jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos.
Before his death, Nick contacted his brother in the US to discuss the distribution of his wealth in case anything happened to him. He also spoke to his young daughter from a previous relationship, telling her that he would always be with her, watching from the sky. His family, friends, and colleagues are left in shock, unable to understand why he took his own life.
Originally from the Ika South local government area of Delta State, Nick had previously been married to the mother of his daughter, but the marriage ended due to irreconcilable differences. He later remarried a Caucasian woman, and those around him believed he had found happiness. Before his tenure at Konga, Nick held positions with TCL/Alcatel as a regional director and with Microsoft Device and Services as the GM/MD for West and Central Africa.
