Nicki Minaj has apologized for kicking a photographer’s camera, mistakenly thinking he was a “peeping Tom.”
“Grizz, my apologies. I love you,” she wrote on social media after her San Antonio show.
Nicki Minaj thought she had caught a “peeping Tom” at her San Antonio tour stop on September 19, but it turned out to be one of her photographers. She shared a clip on her X account the next day, showing her dancing onstage and then stomping on the photographer’s camera after a double take. A crew member can be heard exclaiming, “Ow that’s me! No!” as the damaged camera falls beneath the stage.
In her caption, Nicki wrote, “This is one of the craziest things we’ve ever captured. Y’all please look @ this,” before realizing it was her photographer, Grizz. She later apologized to him in her Gag City Reloaded recap of the show, saying, “@grizzleearts the fact that I thought Grizz (one of my fave people in all the land) was a peeping Tom & began stomping him out. Grizz, my apologies. I love you.
